Miramichi Region Tourism Expo
You don't need to go away to get away! It's all right here in your own backyard. Come and see the sights, sounds and sumptuous flavours of the Miramichi Region. Lot's of fun, lot's of laughs, lot's of good food. Local hotels and establishments will have a food fair upstairs. Free admission. Draws and door prizes. Sign up for the Liar's Contest - $10 - A Fibber's Fest full of laughs - terrific grand prize. Entertainment every hour on the hour. Friday May 2nd from 4 - 8 and Saturday from 10 to 4. (Tourism operators, booth spaces are still available.)
May 9 - 10
Model Trains!
Be an engineer! Exhibit open to the public Friday evening 5 - 10 and Saturday from 10:30 - 4 p.m. Admission $2. Food will be available for purchase at the Eco-Centre.
May 10
Flea Market
Call now to reserve your space/table. 773-9524. All spaces are 10X10 - Space only $20, Space with your own table $20, space with rented table $30. Electrical available at $10 per exhibit space. Call the eco-centre to reserve. Agreement must be signed and space paid for before May 7th to ensure booth number, exhibit ID card. Food and concessions will be available for purchase upstairs at the Eco-Centre.
May 14 - 15
The District 16 Heritage Fair
Open to the public Wednesday 6:30 p.m. to 8:30. Free admission. Opening ceremonies at 6:30 on Wednesday May 14th. Open to the public on Thursday May 15th 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Restaurant open upstairs with meals prepared by the Culinary Arts Students of District 16. Theme - Music heritage of the Miramichi. Also features Student Talent on Parade with students perfoming musical numbers on various instruments.

Month of June
Add your content here
All during the month of June over 200 paintings will be on display. This large exhibit features the artistic talents of the studens of Robert Stephens. Admission to the Eco-Centre will gain you admission to the art exhibit. Artists will be on site from 2 - 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Exhibit is open 10-4 Wednesday throught Sunday. Exhibit opening reception 6 - 8 p.m. downstairs at the Eco-Centre. Artists will be present. Public is welcome.

4th annual Rotary Pond Hockey Tournament

A rotary project that raises funds to support the Eco-Centre and other community based projects.
